Travel by air
You can fly to Geneva with any of the following, but book early to get the best prices:
If you’re hiring a car at the airport make sure to pre-book for the best deal and make sure the collection and drop off point is the Swiss side of Geneva airport, not the French. All the main car hire firms (Hertz, Avis, Europcar, Budget etc.) are based at the airport. As you enter the arrivals hall the hire desks are in front of you, to the left. Make sure to ask for snow chains during the winter months.
On leaving the airport, follow the signs for France and pick up the motorway. Follow the A40 towards Chamonix. Come off at Cluses and take the D902 to Les Gets.
Travel by car
Driving time is approx 8 hours from Calais or Zeebruge and is straightforward, with autoroutes most of the way (toll charges apply).
From Calais, take A26 – Reims A4, A26 – Troyes A5 – Dijon A39 – Bourg-en-Bresse A39 – Geneva, A40 – Cluses A40 then D902 (Route des Grandes Alpes) toward Les Gets.
On arriving in Les Gets, follow the road through the village towards Morzine and when you pass the tennis courts on your left Route de la Liberte is the second turn on your left (after the wooden shed). Bear right and carry on for 200 metres and Chalet Annapurna is on your left.
If you prefer to be collected at the airport and dropped at the chalet then we can recommend www.skitransfers.com, whom you can book with online or over the phone, and who we have found to be very reliable. They are based near the chalet and will also quote for village transfers, if required.
